Dana White is opposed to open-air
\nUFC<\/a> events for a reason. <\/p>\n

The UFC is hosting a one-of-a-kind event on President Donald
\nTrump\u2019s birthday on June 14 at the White House to celebrate
\nAmerica\u2019s 250th year of independence. White recently revealed that,
\namong other issues, the UFC\u2019s production team is currently trying
\nto figure out how to deal with gnats. <\/p>\n

White, who is a close ally of Trump, was recently invited to dinner
\nat the Rose Garden of the White House. White was immediately
\nconcerned to see the number of gnats there. The issue is likely to
\nbe aggravated further under the bright lights at
\nUFC White House<\/a>. White immediately called his head of
\nproduction to discuss the issue and make sure fighters don\u2019t have
\ngnats swarming them at the event on June 14. White notes that he
\nhas always been opposed to open-air events for reasons like
\nthese.<\/p>\n

Pest Control<\/h2>\n

\u201cPresident Trump just opened the Rose Garden two nights ago, and he
\ninvited me to dinner there,\u201d White told Boardroom<\/a>. \u201cThe amount of gnats that were
\nflying around, I\u2019m like, \u2018Holy s\u2014t.\u2019 As soon as I got on the plane,
\nI called my head of production and said, \u2018Yeah, let me tell you
\nabout the gnat situation tonight.\u2019 So when you\u2019re a fighter, think
\nabout that lighting grid, the claw that we\u2019re gonna have, the
\namount of power in the lights. Moths, gnats, and God knows what
\nelse. Fighters trying to deal with that\u2026 These are all the little
\ndetails that we have to think about. That\u2019s why I don\u2019t like
\nfighting outside. Ever.\u201d
