\nlost the right to talk trash after his performance against Mike
\nPerry<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Diaz (21-14) faced Perry at
\nMost Valuable Promotions “Rousey vs. Carano”<\/a> last weekend in
\nLos Angeles. Diaz had no answers while taking a brutal beating from
\nPerry. Perry left Diaz a bloody mess, forcing his corner to throw
\nin the towel at the end of the second round.<\/p>\n

Poirier (30-10) was unimpressed by Diaz\u2019s performance against
\nPerry. To Poirier, it looked like Diaz didn\u2019t want to be inside the
\ncage after returning to MMA for the first time since 2022. While
\nPoirier and Diaz were scheduled to fight twice in the past, the
\nmatchups never came to fruition due to various reasons. Despite
\nPoirier\u2019s retirement last year, \u201cThe Diamond\u201d is open to a return
\nonly for a matchup against Diaz. Regardless of Diaz\u2019s underwhelming
\nperformance against Perry, Poirier is still interested in fighting
\nthe Stockton, California, native and promises to knock him out
\nclean.<\/p>\n
