\nPaul<\/a>\u2019s MVP hosted its first MMA card last weekend at the Intuit
\nDome in Los Angeles,. Jason
\nJackson<\/a> knocked out Jefferson
\nCreighton<\/a> just 20 seconds into their welterweight clash on the
\ncard. <\/p>\n

However, Jackson believes he wasn\u2019t appreciated enough while going
\ninto the fight as well as for his performance. The former Bellator
\nchampion believes he didn\u2019t deserve to be on the prelims. While
\nJackson had told his friends and family that his fight would be
\nbroadcast on Netflix, the prelims were available for free on
\nYouTube. <\/p>\n

Francis
\nNgannou<\/a> earned the $100,000 \u201cPerformance of the Night\u201d bonus
\nfor his first round knockout win over Philipe
\nLins<\/a>. Jackson thinks that was a foregone conclusion with
\nNgannou weighing 34 pounds more than Lins. With all respect to
\nNgannou, Jackson believes he should have earned the performance
\nbonus instead of \u201cThe Predator.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feeling Underappreciated<\/h2>\n

The most promoted fights on the card were Ngannou vs. Lins,
\nNate
\nDiaz<\/a> vs. Mike Perry<\/a>,
\nand Ronda
\nRousey<\/a> vs. Gina Carano<\/a>.
\nJackson believes the former
\nUFC<\/a> fighters were treated better than the rest by MVP. Jackson
\nis teasing a brief stint in the UFC to make MVP realize his true
\nworth.<\/p>\n

  \u201cI didn\u2019t feel like one of the valuable players,\u201d Jackson
\nsaid on “The Ariel Helwani Show\u201d<\/a> \u201c\u2026 Little small things
\nlike walking out \u2013 I didn\u2019t get an entry\u2026 I don\u2019t think I deserved
\nto be on the prelims on the first place. My credentials hold more
\nweight than other fighters. And I felt like I deserved the bonus\u2026
\nNo disrespect to Francis but we knew what he was gonna do.
\n[Francis] was like 30 pounds heavier than [Lins]. And he kind of
\nstruggled a little bit with the guy\u2026 I wasn\u2019t feeling the love at
\nall\u2026 I felt disrespected\u2026 My fight was on YouTube. I was excited to
\ncompete on Netflix. I told my whole family, everybody\u2026 The [ex] UFC
\nfighters were being treated like the valuable fighters. So maybe I
\nneed to go to the UFC and make a statement and then probably come
\nback to MVP and show them I am a valuable player.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson suffered an unfortunate ankle injury in his
\nDana White’s Contender Series<\/a> opportunity in 2017. \u201cThe
\nAss-Kicking Machine\u201d then went on to build a career in Bellator
\nwhere he beat the likes of Benson
\nHenderson<\/a> and Neiman
\nGracie<\/a>. Jackson (20-6) is also the only man to beat former
\nBellator
\nMMA<\/a> champion Yaroslav
\nAmosov<\/a>, who is now making headlines in the UFC. <\/p>\n
