\nRakic<\/a> is officially headed to the big man\u2019s division.<\/p>\n

The former light heavyweight contender will square off against
\nMarcin
\nTybura<\/a> at UFC
\nBelgrade<\/a>, the Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Monday.
\nUFC Belgrade takes place on Aug. 1 at Belgrade Arena in Belgrade,
\nSerbia, and is headlined by a welteweight showdown between Uros Medic<\/a>
\nand Daniel
\nRodriguez<\/a>. A middleweight tilt pitting Dusko
\nTodorovic<\/a> against Robert
\nValentin<\/a> was also confirmed for the card.<\/p>\n

Time for a Change<\/h2>\n

Rakic, 34, has lost his last four Octagon appearances at 205
\npounds. In his lone appearance of 2025, \u201cRocket\u201d suffered a
\nfirst-round TKO defeat to Azamat
\nMurzakanov<\/a> at UFC 321 this past October. The Austrian fighter
\nwon six of his first seven outings to emerge as a contender in the
\nlight heavyweight division before his current skid, which also
\nincludes setbacks to Jan
\nBlachowicz<\/a>, Jiri
\nProchazka<\/a> and Magomed
\nAnkalaev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A former M-1 Global title holder, Tybura is 15-10 over the course
\nof a
\nUFC<\/a> tenure that began in 2015. The 40-year-old Pole is coming
\noff back-to-back losses against Ante Delija<\/a>
\nand Tyrell
\nFortune<\/a>. His ledger includes triumphs over the likes of
\nAndrei
\nArlovski<\/a>, Stefan
\nStruve<\/a>, Serghei
\nSpivac<\/a>, Ben Rothwell<\/a>
\nand Tai
\nTuivasa<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n
