\nattending Adin Ross\u2019 boxing event. <\/p>\n

Ross hosted the
\nBrand Risk 14<\/a> card at the
\nUFC<\/a> Apex in Las Vegas on Sunday. The card featured renowned
\npersonalities like musician Ray J, former NFL quarterback Johnny
\nManziel<\/a>, and former NBA players Michael Beasley and Lance
\nStephenson. Meanwhile, it also had bizarre matchups like dwarves
\nfighting each other in MMA. Strickland, fellow UFC fighter Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> and UFC head honcho Dana White were in attendance at
\nthe event. <\/p>\n

However, Strickland (30-7) regretted attending the event and vented
\nas soon as it ended. The UFC middleweight champion claims he feels
\n\u201cless of a man\u201d after being a part of the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have never been a part of anything so shameful in my life,\u201d
\nStrickland said on his Instagram Stories. \u201cAnd I hate myself and I
\nfeel like less of a man after being here. Oh God, why did I agree
\nto this? I’m sick to my stomach.\u201d<\/p>\n

The involvement of social media influencers in MMA has been growing
\nwith time. Streamers like the Nelk Boys, N3on, Ross, and Nina
\nMarie-Daniele regularly hang out with UFC elites. White believes
\nthe influencer community will eventually replace traditional MMA
\nmedia. Strickland expressed his frustration with the growing
\ninfluence of online streamers in general.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think what sucks is you have these streamers and they have this
\nmassive following and you just know that they’re the next
\ngenerations of Americans,\u201d Strickland said. \u201cIt’s so f\u2014-ing sad to
\nthink that the streamer community is gonna inherit America. It’s so
\nbad. I just want it all to stop.\u201d <\/p>\n
