\nRua<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\nbetween Sonnen and \u201cThe Spider,\u201d which resulted in a fight lacking
\nboth action and emotion. The second event made headlines for the
\nopposite reason due to the excessive animosity between Wanderlei
\nand Popo, which ended with the former Pride Fighting Championships
\nstandout
\nbeing knocked out in a post-fight melee<\/a>. In this third edition,
\nthe promoters took care to invite two champions who, while being
\nextremely competitive, have a deep respect for each other’s
\ncareers. The confrontation will be under boxing rules with eight
\nrounds of two minutes.<\/p>\nJudo, Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing<\/h2>\n
\nin two modalities that are extremely popular in Brazil: jiu-jitsu
\nand judo, an Olympic sport where Brazil has a strong tradition and
\na huge fan base. The first two fights announced were duels between
\nBrazilian Olympic champions Bia Sousa and Rafaela
\nSilva<\/a>, who will face international arch-rivals Prisca Awiti and
\nRaz Hershko, respectively. The jiu-jitsu duel will be between
\nrivals and multi-time world champions Felipe Pregui\u00e7a and Nicholas
\nMeregali.<\/p>\n
