\nlike Shakur Stevenson. <\/p>\n

While Topuria (17-0) acknowledges Stevenson as a good boxer, he
\nbelieves the four-division world champion has an issue with him.
\nTopuria believes he can hold his own against the best boxers in the
\nworld today. While it is not a dream for Topuria, the UFC
\nlightweight champion would like to compete in boxing someday.
\nTopuria would especially like to transition to boxing to fight
\nsomeone like Stevenson, who, he says, runs his mouth too much.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Shakur Stevenson] is a good fighter,\u201d Topuria said on DeepCuts with VicBlends<\/a>. \u201cThe only bad thing
\nabout him, he talks too much. He has some hate towards me\u2026
\nHonestly, I really feel that I can go to boxing and really face the
\nbest fighters in the world currently. It\u2019s not like a dream, but if
\nit happens I will be happy. And specifically, if it\u2019s against
\nsomeone like Shakur Stevenson, who talks too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

MMA vs. Boxing Revisited<\/h2>\n

MMA vs. boxing is an age-old debate with no conclusion. While
\nboxers rarely transition to MMA, MMA fighters often try their hand
\nat pugilism after hanging up their MMA gloves. Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> is the only UFC fighter who was still at his prime
\nwhen he lost a boxing match against Floyd

Stevenson\u2019s feud with Topuria also started with the MMA vs. boxing
\ndebate. Stevenson was streaming with Adin Ross<\/a> when the influencer
\ndeclared MMA better than boxing. Stevenson refused to agree with
\nRoss, who then brought up Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>. When Ross lauded Topuria\u2019s elite boxing skills,
\nStevenson called out the UFC champion to fight him in
