\nVolkanovski<\/a> had already acknowledged Evloev as the most
\ndeserving title contender when \u201cThe Great\u201d won the title for the
\nsecond time against Diego Lopes<\/a>
\nlast year. Evloev had already defeated Lopes, who gave him a tough
\ntest in a short-notice debut in 2023. However, Lopes surprising
\nleapfrogged ahead of Evloev and challenged Volkanovski in a rematch
\nthis past January, coming up short again.<\/p>\n
\nMurphy<\/a> in a clash of undefeated contenders at
\nUFC London<\/a> in March. Evloev scored a majority decision win over
\n\u201cIceman\u201d in a close technical affair. Evloev is coming off wins
\nover Lopes, Arnold
\nAllen<\/a>, Aljamain
