\nUFC White House<\/a> main event. <\/p>\n

Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> will look to defend his lightweight title against
\ninterim champion Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 at the White House. Dana
\nWhite recently announced that Tsarukyan is the official backup
\nfighter for the lightweight title fight at the White
\nHouse. <\/p>\n

However, with no injuries reported, hardly two weeks ahead of the
\nfight, Tsarukyan doesn\u2019t think his services will be needed.
\nTsarukyan also notes that he is scheduled to wrestle Tony
\nFerguson<\/a> at RAF 10 on June 13, which will be the same day as
\nthe weigh-ins for the UFC White House card.<\/p>\n

Booked Until September<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m booked until September already\u2026 I have wrestling match on June
\n13, we\u2019ll see,\u201d Tsarukyan said while attending a presser for his
\nRAF 9 wrestling match against \u201cMugzy.\u201d \u201cI am a backup, but
\neverything is going good, two weeks left, I think they\u2019re gonna
\nfight. So, I\u2019m gonna wait for my [title shot] chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Tsarukyan was asked if plans to weigh in as the backup for UFC
\nWhite House before his wrestling match against Ferguson,
\n\u201cAhalkalakets\u201d clearly said that he will only do
\nRAF.  <\/p>\n

Tsarukyan (23-3) fell into the
\nUFC<\/a> brass\u2019s bad books after pulling out of a scheduled
\nlightweight title fight against Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> last year. Fans finally expected Tsarukyan to secure
\na shot after he finished Dan Hooker<\/a>
\nthis past November. However, Tsarukyan was again sidelined when an
\ninterim title fight was announced, where Gaethje defeated Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a>. Tsarukyan continues to be active in wrestling
\ncompetitions while he awaits his title shot. <\/p>\n
