Overweight military personnel aren\u2019t welcome to the
\nUFC White House<\/a> event. <\/p>\n

The
\nUFC<\/a> is hosting a one-of-a-kind event at the White House on June
\n14 to celebrate America\u2019s 250th year of independence. The event
\nalso coincides with President Donald Trump\u2019s birthday. <\/p>\n

While there will be no tickets for the general public, 4,300
\nspecial guests, mostly members of the military, will watch the
\nevent at the South Lawn of the White House. Meanwhile, 85,000 free
\ntickets will be available for the general public to watch the event
\non screen at the nearby Ellipse. <\/p>\n

Good for Optics?<\/h2>\n

Military personnel allegedly need to meet fitness requirements to
\nbe eligible to attend the event. According to a screenshot of an
\ninvite shared on social media, \u201cTicket recipients are required to
\nmeet the DOD waist-to-height ratio standard of less than 0.55, as
\nwell as all service-specific physical fitness test requirements.\u201d
\nThe tickets are also not transferable, even to family members of
\nmilitary personnel.
