Some familiar faces will be on board when Scott Coker\u2019s new mixed
\nmartial arts promotion launches in 2027.<\/p>\n

Coker, who
\nannounced plans<\/a> for a new organization set to debut next year,
\nrevealed on Wednesday the addition of six new executives to his
\nleadership team. One noteworthy member of that group is Rich Chou,
\nwho served as matchmaker under Coker during their tenures in
\nBellator
\nMMA<\/a> and Strikeforce<\/a>.
\nChou\u2019s official title is executive vice president, athlete
\nrelations, and he will be \u201ccentral to the league\u2019s competition
\nstrategy and its commitment to building authentic relationships
\nwith fighters and fight teams,\u201d per a release.<\/p>\n

Coker\u2019s Executive Team:<\/h2>\n

-Kevin Kay, chief content officer (Paramount Network, Spike TV)
-Tom Fox, chief operating officer (Gatorade, NBA Properties,
\nArsenal)

\n(Strikeforce, Bellator MMA)
-Paolo Boccotti, executive vice president, european production &
\noperations (Fight Code, Bellator MMA)
-Lawrence Stuart, executive vice president, media rights & business
\ndevelopment (CMP, Screenz, ICM Partners)
-Chris DeBlasio, executive vice [resident, global head of
\ncommunications (Showtime Sports)

\u201cWe have assembled a team of premium sports leaders who share our
\nvalues and respect for combat sports,\u201d Coker stated. \u201cTom, Kevin,
\nRich, Paolo, Lawrence and Chris each bring world-class experience
\nand the industry relationships needed to drive MMA forward, while
\nalways honoring its roots, the athletes and the fans who supported
\nthis sport from the beginning. Collectively, we see where the sport
\ncan go and we also know where it comes from.\u201d<\/p>\n

The organization is backed by $60 million in financing from Creator
\nSports Capital and other investors. Coker recently
\nrevealed<\/a> that he hopes to hold a debut event in January 2027.
\nOther details, including \u201cleague name, competition structure,
\nathlete participation, media partnerships and event schedule,\u201d are
