St. Pierre also notes that many young fighters waste their early
\nearnings on luxuries. The former UFC double champ advises young
\nfighters to reinvest their earnings in developing themselves
\ninstead.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn UFC, it was 3+3, $3,000 to show and $3,000 to win. Karo
\nParisyan<\/a>\u2026 I reinvested in myself,\u201d St. PIerre said on Demetrious
\nJohnson<\/a>\u2019s podcast<\/a> \u201cI didn\u2019t use to buy luxury and stuff. I
\nbought the stuff I needed to buy, like mortgage and stuff like
\nthat. I reinvested in trips to New York, Thailand, Brazil, to seek
\nexpertise, to make me better. That\u2019s the problem with a lot of guys
\nwhen they start. When they make money, they buy jewelry, cars, and
\nstuff. You don\u2019t want to do that. You need snowball effect. You
\nneed to reinvest on yourself so you can keep the ball
\nrolling.\u201d <\/p>\n
