\nbanner last weekend, gave a rough timeline for the end of her
\ncombat sports career during an appearance on “The
\nAriel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
\nI’m not saying that all of them are big fights for a title.
\n..Within the year and I’m done,\u201d Holm said. \u201cThat’s where I’m at. I
\ndefinitely want them to be fights that people want to see. I want
\nit to be something big like that. And that’s where I’m at, whether
\nit be MMA or boxing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nbefore the
\nJackson-Wink MMA<\/a> standout calls it a career.<\/p>\n
\nsecond-round submission loss to future 135-pound champion Kayla
\nHarrison<\/a> in April 2024. More recently, \u201cThe Preacher\u2019s
\nDaughter\u201d has gone 1-2 in boxing and also competed in wrestling
\nunder the Real American Freestyle banner.<\/p>\nThe Rousey Question<\/h2>\n
\nboxing. She won her first nine outings, setting the stage for her
\nhead-kick knockout of the previously undefeated Ronda
\nRousey<\/a> at UFC 193 in November 2015. Though Holm\u2019s championship
\nreign was short lived, that victory propelled Holm to a new level
\nof stardom that has lingered for the rest of her career.<\/p>\n

\nMost Valuable Promotions “Rousey vs. Carano”<\/a> on May 16, there
\nwas some talk about a rematch with Holm. Rousey quickly dismissed
\nthe notion, claiming that she is once again retired and that she
\nwould \u201cclean [Holm\u2019s] clock\u201d if they fought again. Holm says that
\nshe\u2019s always been open to the rematch, but she believes Rousey
\nfeels differently.<\/p>\n
\nher for it,\u201d Holm said. \u201cI don’t want someone to get in there and
\nfight if they don’t want to actually fight. Because I want someone
\nwho wants it.<\/p>\n
\nwants a rematch. I’ll give it to her. And I have respect for her.
\nShe was the dominant champion, and she is good. She just came back
