Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> is confident that he will finish Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> in the very first round. <\/p>\n

Topuria looks to defend his lightweight title against interim
\nchampion Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> in the main event at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. While the fight is scheduled for
\nfive rounds, Topuria doesn\u2019t see it going past the first round. \u201cEl
\nMatador\u201d clarifies that he has the gas tank to go for way more than
\nthe 25 scheduled minutes if required. Topuria claims he knows how
\nit feels to push past his breaking point. However, the undefeated
\nGeorgian-Spaniard is confident that he won\u2019t need more than five
\nminutes to finish Gaethje. Topuria just wants to make it a
\nhighlight-reel finish. <\/p>\n

Faith in His Skills<\/h2>\n

\u201cI have the stamina to go not for five rounds, but for five days,\u201d
\nTopuria told UFC on Paramount+<\/a>. \u201cI know how it feels when
\nyou\u2019re tired, when you can\u2019t do more, and you never give up. So I\u2019m
\nready. But I have the complete faith that I am going to finish him
\nin the first round. I just want to make it look
\nbeautiful.\u201d <\/p>\n

This is Gaethje\u2019s (27-5) third bid for an undisputed
\nUFC<\/a> title. \u201cThe Highlight\u201d has gone 4-1 since his last failed
\nbid against Charles
\nOliveira<\/a> in 2022. Gaethje became the interim champion with a
\ndominant beatdown of Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> this past January. Meanwhile, Topuria (17-0) won the
\nfeatherweight title and defended it once before moving up and
\nwinning the lightweight title. Topuria has put three legends to
\nsleep in the process: Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a>, Max
\nHolloway<\/a>, and Oliveira. <\/p>\n
