\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>\u2019s logjammed lightweight
\ndivision\u2019s rankings may be on the line.<\/p>\n


\nHeavy<\/a> first broke the news on Thursday that
\nUFC 329<\/a> would be getting a striker\u2019s delight at 155 pounds. Per
\nthe initial report, and subsequently confirmed by one of the
\nfighters on his Instagram Stories<\/a> page,
\nKing
\nGreen<\/a> (35-17-1, 1 NC) will be throwing down with Terrance
\nMcKinney<\/a> (18-8) on July 11. They will be colliding inside of
\nthe T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, likely serving as a high-billed
\nprelim.<\/p>\n

Green currently rides a three-fight win streak, his longest since
\nclaiming a trio of decisions over Clay Guida<\/a>,
\nLando
\nVannata<\/a> and Alan
\nPatrick<\/a> in 2020. In this run, he beat Lance
\nGibson Jr.<\/a>, knocked out Daniel
\nZellhuber<\/a> and tapped Jeremy
\nStephens<\/a> within the last seven months. The grizzled veteran
\nwill be entering into his 31st with the promotion, having joined
\nthe roughly two dozen names who completed at least 30 UFC bouts led
\nby Jim
\nMiller<\/a>\u2019s 47.<\/p>\n

Far less experience but arguably more dangerous, the Washington
\nnative McKinney has yet to go to a decision after 26 pro outings.
\nIn the UFC thus far, he has fought a mere 13 times, but no match
\nhas ever lasted more than 7:17. While Green has won his last three,
\nMcKinney can celebrate finish victories in three of his last four
\nwalks to the cage. In March, he punted Kyle Nelson<\/a>
\nin 24 seconds to get back on the winning track.<\/p>\n
