Former flyweight title challenger Steve Erceg<\/a>
\nwill take on Ramazonbek
\nTemirov<\/a> at UFC Fight Night 282 on July 25 at the Etihad Arena
\nin Abu Dhabi. The promotion recently announced the
\npairing.<\/p>\n

Erceg (14-4) started his
\nUFC<\/a> journey with three consecutive wins to earn a wild card
\ntitle shot against Alexandre
\nPantoja<\/a> in 2024. However, Erceg came up short against Pantoja,
\nwhich also marked the beginning of a three-fight slump for the
\nAustralian. \u201cAstro Boy\u201d has since rebounded with victories over
\nOde
\nOsbourne<\/a> and Tim
\nElliott<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Back from Suspension<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, Temirov (19-3) is unbeaten in 11 straight outings since
\n2021. Temirov scored a first-round knockout win over C.J. Vergara<\/a>
\nin his UFC debut in 2024 and followed it up with a decision win
\nover flyweight veteran Charles
\nJohnson<\/a>. \u201cTemurlan\u201d was
\nsuspended<\/a> last year after testing positive for the banned
\nsubstance Trimetazidine (TMZ). However, Temirov presented evidence
\nthat he was prescribed the substance for a medical condition. The
\nUzbek becomes eligible to compete on July 5.
