\nstill on the mend after being involved in what he calls \u201cthe worst
\naccident of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\naccident that occurred 11 weeks ago in a post on social media on
\nMonday.<\/p>\n

\nunconscious and woke up 10 feet underwater. I remember opening my
\neyes beneath the surface and realizing I had to get to the top. It
\ntook about six hard strokes before I finally broke through the
\nwater,\u201d Ortiz wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n
\nthere, trying to understand what had happened, I realized how close
\nI had come to losing my life. Thankfully, the boat came back around
\nand picked me up. I sat down on a beanbag, confused, in pain, and
\nnot fully understanding the severity of my injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nwho says who is still dealing with some of the effects of the
\naccident. However, Ortiz also feels fortunate to still be
\nalive.<\/p>\n
\nhave been unlike anything I\u2019ve ever experienced,\u201d he continued.
\n\u201cFor nearly two months after the accident, much of my memory was
\ngone. Even now, pieces are slowly starting to come back. This
\ninjury has affected every part of my life. My health has suffered.
\nMy personal life has suffered. My business has suffered. I\u2019ve
\nmissed opportunities, lost time, and faced challenges I never
\nexpected.<\/p>\n
\nme. I truly believe I was given a second chance. Every day since
\nthat accident has been a reminder of how precious life is and how
\nquickly everything can change.\u201d<\/p>\nSeeking Further Relief<\/h2>\n
\nnext week.<\/p>\n
\nhe wrote. \u201cMy hope is that this procedure will finally relieve the
\npain and help me continue the road to recovery. Thank you to
\neveryone who has supported me, prayed for me, checked in on me, and
\nstood by my side during this difficult journey. Your encouragement
\nhas meant more than words can express. I\u2019m not done fighting. This
\nis just another challenge to overcome.\u201d<\/p>\n
