Aspinall (15-3) hasn\u2019t fought since his first title defense against
\nCiryl
\nGane<\/a> ended in a no-contest due to a double eye poke by Gane at
\nUFC
\n320<\/a> last October. Gane (13-2) is now scheduled to fight
\nAlex
\nPereira<\/a> (13-3) for the interim heavyweight title at
\nUFC White House: Freedom 250<\/a> on June 14. Hokit (9-0) is also
\nbooked to trade leather in a heavyweight tilt against Derrick
\nLewis<\/a> (29-13.)<\/p>\n

Hokit believes Gane and Pereira should be fighting for the
\nundisputed title instead of an interim one. Having recently
\ninstigated a one-sided beef with Pereira, Hokit wants to fight the
\nBrazilian next. Considering Aspinall\u2019s claims of being unable to
\ndrive due to the seriousness of his eye injury, Hokit doubts the
\nEnglishman will return anytime soon. \u201cThe Incredible Hok\u201d accuses
\nAspinall of holding up the division with his \u201ctheatrics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo get the division moving again, Pereira and Gane should be for
\nthe heavyweight championship,\u201d Hokit told UFC on Paramount Plus.
\n\u201cAnd then I\u2019ll fight [Pereira] next after I beat Derrick Lewis\u2026 You
\ngot [Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>] claiming that he’s blind now. Saying that he can’t
\npractice, he can’t even drive. Then all of a sudden he’s saying
\nhe’s going to come back. Just choose one or the other at this
\npoint. I think the division is being held up with his theatrics or
\nwhatever he’s doing, his tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n
