Hokit is scheduled to meet Lewis in a heavyweight matchup at

\nUFC White House: Freedom 250<\/a> on June 14. Alex Pereria and
\nCiryl
\nGane<\/a> will clash for the interim heavyweight title in the
\nco-main event. Hokit is more interested in a future clash against
\nPereira than his upcoming matchup against Lewis. \u201cThe Incredible
\nHok\u201d believes he is stepping down in competition by fighting Lewis.
\nHowever, Hokit is sure that fighting on the iconic White House card
\nadds to his stock, for a potential matchup against Pereira in the
\nfuture. Hokit told UFC on Paramount+:<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say [I\u2019m more interested in fighting] Alex
\nPereira<\/a> , for sure\u2026 I think I’m going down in competition from
\nmy last fight. Me beating Derrick Lewis doesn’t bring no value to
\nme, I don’t think. But me fighting at the White House does. I think
\nthat’s going to propel to a fight with Alex Pereira.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hokit (9-0) has won all three of his
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> bouts since making his debut
\nlast year. The former NFL fullback has quickly gained attention
\nwith his loud persona and WWE-style promos. Hokit is coming off a
\nunanimous decision win in bloodbath against Curtis
\nBlaydes<\/a>, which is the first time he saw the judges\u2019 scorecards
\nin his professional career. Meanwhile, Lewis (29-13) is coming off
\na stoppage loss against Waldo
\nCortes-Acosta<\/a>, that snapped a two-fight knockout streak. \u201cThe
\nBlack Beast\u201d is the all-time leader for the most KO\/TKO wins in UFC
\nhistory with 16.<\/p>\n
