Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>\u2019s immediate professional future is looking murkier by
\nthe day.<\/p>\n

Aspinall\u2019s new manager, Eddie Hearn, has been vehemently
\ncriticising his current
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> contract. Hearn now claims that
\nhe won\u2019t let the UFC heavyweight champion fight under such
\nterms.<\/p>\n

While Aspinall (15-3) is sidelined with an eye injury, Alex
\nPereira<\/a> and Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nwill compete for the interim heavyweight title at
\nUFC White House: Freedom 250<\/a> on June 14. The winner of that
\nfight is expected to meet Aspinall in a title unifier. However,
\nHearn claims he will try his best not to let Aspinall accept that
\nfight unless a new deal is reached. Hearn claims Aspinall\u2019s current
\nUFC contract would earn him 1\/50th of the amount of money he would
\ngenerate in a title unifier against Pereira or Gane.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not gonna let Tom Aspinall fight for the kind of money that\u2019s
\nin his contract,\u201d Hearn
\ntold Bloody Elbow<\/a>. \u201cTo be involved in a fight against Pereira
\nor Gane, for literally 1\/50th of the revenue of that show. F**k
\nthat. I won\u2019t let him do it. It\u2019s time that those UFC fighters
\nstopped being mugs and started understanding that these people are
\ntaking advantage of them. They deserve better\u2026 My advice to Tom
\nAspinall would be, \u2018Don\u2019t you dare take that fight for the money
\nthat\u2019s in your contract\u2026 you nearly lost your eyesight, you had
\nfour operations in your eyes, and you wanna go back and fight for
\nvirtually nothing?\u2019… I will do everything I can to not allow
\nit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aspinall has been having a falling out with the UFC since his first
\ntitle defense against Gane ended in a no-contest at UFC 320<\/a>
\nlast October. Dana White seemed disappointed with Aspinall after
\nthe champion chose not to continue with a compromised vision due to
\na double eye poke by Gane in the opening round. Aspinall signed
\nwith the management of White\u2019s longtime rival Hearn soon after.<\/p>\n
