\nTopuria<\/a> (17-0) to unify the lightweight belts on June 14 at the
\nWhite House. Sportsbooks and experts have prognosticated that the
\nreach and prominence of these bouts may break single-event MMA
\nbetting records. Ultimate Fighting Championship<\/a> lightweight
\ncontender Tsarukyan is contributing his own share to the pot, to
\nthe tune of $1 million.<\/p>\n

The Armenian by way of Russia has put down a million dollars on the
\nbout between Topuria and Gaethje. Recording himself on video
\nplacing the bet with +570 underdog odds, Tsarukyan has put it all
\non Gaethje to win. Should \u201cThe Highlight\u201d get the job done on
\nSunday, Tsarukyan can clear $5 million on this bet alone. He posted
\na screenshot of
\nhis betting slip<\/a> on social media, while promising Gaethje he
\nwill buy him a new truck should he defeat Topuria.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan has developed a little animosity towards Topuria, who in
\nreturn has long been dismissing him as the most deserving
\nlightweight title contender. Tsarukyan was sidelined from the title
\npicture after pulling out of a title shot against then-champion
\nIslam
\nMakhachev<\/a> last year. Topuria won the vacant belt against
\nCharles
\nOliveira<\/a> when Makhachev moved up to welterweight. While
\nTsarukyan was still widely considered the most deserving contender,
\nTopuria wanted to defend against Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> instead. However, Tsarukyan was sidelined again after
\nGaethje defeated Pimblett for the interim strap.<\/p>\n

The UFC has yet to comment on this video, which could be sponsored
\ncontent or another form of advertising for the service of Jack.com
\nand not necessarily a real bet. If legitimate, Tsarukyan may run
\nafoul of the UFC’s betting integrity policy that prohibits fighters
\nfrom any sports betting altogether, especially MMA.<\/p>\n
