Things are heating up between Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> and Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> ahead of their upcoming fight.<\/p>\n

Topuria (17-0) will look to defend his lightweight title against
\ninterim champ Gaethje (27-5) in the main event of
\nUFC White House: Freedom 250<\/a> on Sunday, June 14. While both
\nTopuria and Gaethje were initially respectful toward each other,
\nthey have now started a serious war of words.<\/p>\n

Topuria recently got divorced from his ex-wife, Giorgina Uzcategui
\nBadell. Gaethje said he understands why Topuria\u2019s wife divorced
\nhim, as even he wouldn\u2019t want to be roommates with \u201cEl Matador.\u201d
\nTopuria did not take kindly to Gaethje\u2019s personal dig at him.
\nTopuria responded:<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin crossed a line. What happened between my ex-wife and me is
\nour business. We may no longer be together, but she is the mother
\nof my daughter. To everyone insulting her or speaking about things
\nthey know nothing about: show some respect. You don\u2019t have to
\nrespect our relationship. But respecting someone\u2019s mother should be
\none of the most basic codes in life. Be better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gaethje then reminded Topuria that it all started with the
\nundefeated Georgian-Spaniard promising to knock him out in front of
\nhis father.<\/p>\n

\u201cProving my point. Insufferable little bitch boy. Never said a
\nthing about your wife. You want to speak words to my father then
\nact like I crossed some line. We already fighting buddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Topuria said that Gaethje\u2019s father was the one who first
\ncalled him a \u201cshort guy.\u201d Topuria promises to knock out the
\n\u201chighlight\u201d and confront his father about the comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should\u2019ve kept your father out of this. He was the one calling
\nme a short guy and saying you\u2019d smash me, all while holding a beer
\nin his hand. Then you started talking about my divorce and telling
