Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> didn\u2019t make it to the
\nUFC White House<\/a> event, but he did manage to cause a scene a
\nlittle before the card was scheduled to begin.<\/p>\n

The
\nUFC<\/a> middleweight champion briefly made his way to the
\npromotion\u2019s fan fest at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. However,
\nafter entering a WWE ring and delighting nearby fans, Strickland
\nwas escorted off the premises by security.<\/p>\n

\u201cI may have been charged with disorderly conduct. I don\u2019t know what
\nthat is but it sounds cool,\u201d Strickland said later on his Instagram
\nStories. \u201cAnyways, I just want to thank you fans. I can\u2019t thank you
\nguys enough. After being banned, you guys riding, supporting me, it
\nmeans a lot to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is currently unclear if Strickland has been formally charged at
\nthis point in time.<\/p>\n

Making Waves<\/h2>\n

Strickland caused a stir leading up to UFC White House when he
\n
\nclaimed that he was banned<\/a> from attending the event due to
\ncontroversial remarks he made about Israel and Prime Minister
\nBenjamin Netanyahu. Dana White denied that Strickland had been
\nbanned from the event, pointing out that attendance was limited by
\nspace and seating restrictions. Strickland was also present at the
\npre-fignt press conference one day prior.<\/p>\n

Always a controversial figure outside of the cage, Strickland began
\nhis second championship reign with an upset victory over Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> at UFC 328<\/a>
\non May 9. He initially emerged as a significant star with a
\nchampionship victory over Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a> at UFC 293 in September 2023.<\/p>\n
