After the former
\nUFC<\/a> middleweight champion scored a quick victory over Danis,
\nChimaev kicked the legs of a grounded \u201cEl Jefe,\u201d sparking a huge
\nmelee at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. Danis appeared to draw
\nChimaev\u2019s ire by holding on to his foot at the conclusion of the
\nmatch.<\/p>\n

Chimaev has since broken his silence on the situation, directing
\nthe majority of the blame toward his opponent.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat should I think? Stupid guys do stupid things,\u201d Chimaev told
\nRed Corner MMA. \u201cI accept something like that. He knows he wasn\u2019t
\nmy level in wrestling so he felt that and then he tried to sub me.
\nLike do submission, bro. If he did a submission on me, I\u2019m never
\ngoing to train again.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a weird guy, honestly. You know I try to hold myself but this
\nidiot do stupid things. What should we do?\u201d<\/p>\n

With animosity still lingering, the Chechen standout indicated that
\nhe would welcome a streetfight against Danis, who has been known
\nfor his controversial antics since rising to prominence as Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a>\u2019s training partner several years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was thinking winning the match then outside I want to ask him
\nlet\u2019s go. Let\u2019s dance outside,\u201d Chimaev said. \u201cI asked him before
\nlike [let\u2019s] do a street fight, you know? He don\u2019t want it. He knew
\na lot of security is going to be there and that\u2019s why he was doing
\nsame shit stuff.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhenever he wants, just send me a message [with] location wherever
\nyou are and so I\u2019m open.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time such an incident has occurred at an RAF
\nevent. A match between UFC lightweight contender Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> and influencer-wrestler Georgio Poullas at RAF 6

\nerupted into a brawl<\/a> after Tsarukyan shoved his opponent down
\nto land a punch and a knee at the conclusion of their chippy
\nencounter.<\/p>\n

RAF Exec Responds<\/h2>\n

RAF CEO Chad Bronstein addressed the most recent incident at
\nSaturday\u2019s post-fight press conference. While the melee did bring
\nmore attention to the organization, it is not something that RAF
\nwants to encourage going forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think for what we do for wrestling this is what we want,
\nright?\u201d Bronstein said (via MMAFighting.com<\/a>). \u201cIt should just stay on the
\nstage. We talked to both of them prior to the match and said keep
\nit all wrestling on the stage. There should not be anyone getting
\non that stage. The show was amazing before we got to that issue.
\nThe wrestling world deserves wrestling. That\u2019s what we\u2019re here to
\nprovide.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, we didn\u2019t want that, as you probably know. We\u2019re 10 shows in,
\nwe had it happen once, now two. We just have to make sure again
\nthat any of those matches happen, security\u2019s even bigger so we
\ndon\u2019t have that situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> has addressed the RAF10 altercation with Dillon
\nDanis<\/a> for the first time, speaking exclusively to Red Corner
\nMMA.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want this to happen. I thought I\u2019d catch him
\noutside.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chimaev also claimed Danis looked for a submission during their
