Despite calling for his release after a recent falling out with the

\nUFC<\/a>, Jones has seemingly not given up on the idea of competing
\nagain. Former opponent Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nrecently lauded Jones as the best fighter on the current UFC roster
\nas well as the best UFC fighter of all time. <\/p>\n

Jones (28-1) appreciated Gane\u2019s compliment, while claiming to be
\nstill a part of the UFC roster. \u201cBones\u201d also says that he is
\ncapable of competing again.<\/p>\n

Not Done Yet?<\/h2>\n

\u201cStill on the roster, still capable of making the biggest fights on
\nthe globe,\u201d Jones wrote on his Instagram Stories. \u201cI appreciate you
\nfor keeping it real.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nJones returned to action after three years in 2023 and made quick
\nwork of Gane to win the vacant UFC heavyweight title. Jones
\ndefended the title against Stipe
\nMiocic<\/a> before avoiding a matchup against interim champion
\nTom
\nAspinall<\/a>. \u201cBones\u201d continued ducking Aspinall for nearly a year
\nbefore unceremoniously retiring last year in June. <\/p>\n

However, Jones started rallying for a spot on the
\nUFC White House<\/a> as soon as it was first mentioned. \u201cBones\u201d
\neventually failed to land a spot on the card, and Dana White said
\nthere were no negotiations with the former champ. Jones
\nsubsequently lashed out at the UFC and started asking for his
\nrelease from the promotion. Jones even recently hailed Most
\nValuable Promotions\u2019 first event as better than the
