Makhachev (28-1) welcomed Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> to the
\nUFC<\/a> in 2019, beating him via unanimous decision. Makhachev
\nrecently revealed that he wasn\u2019t feeling well after the fight and
\nthrew up. Right as Makhachev started relaxing, one of his teammates
\ninsisted that he should take activated charcoal pills. Makhachev
\ntook seven pills after some convincing. <\/p>\n

Makhachev\u2019s teammate then suddenly realized that he had
\nadministered the wrong pills. However, Makhachev\u2019s stomach was too
\nempty even to throw up. While Makhachev\u2019s friend tried to find a
\nmanganese solution as a cure, it couldn\u2019t be procured without a
\nprescription. They eventually called an ambulance and found out
\nthat Makhachev had taken seven laxative pills. The Dagestani star
\ntook a month and a half to recover from that, while sticking to
\nmilk and rice.<\/p>\n

A Painful Mistake<\/h2>\n

\u201cMuslim says, \u2018Take some activated charcoal, it\u2019s going to help
\nyou.\u2019 I said no,\u201d Makhachev told Red Corner MMA. \u201cAnd I still
\nremember him saying, \u2018Hey, just one time listen to me and take
\nactivated charcoal.\u2019 So he gives me the pills. I\u2019m taking them all,
\nand it\u2019s like it came down from a waterfall as my stomach is empty.
\nAnd he suddenly goes, \u2018Stop. I gave you the wrong pills, throw up!\u2019
\nAnd I say, \u2018How can I throw up? My stomach is empty.\u2019… So we
\ncalled the ambulance. It turns out that he gave me laxative, seven
\npills. So I was recovering for a long time after that.\u201d
