\nPereira<\/a>\u2019s loss to Ciryl Gane<\/a>

\nUFC White House<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Pereira (13-4) looked to win a title in a third weight class when
\nhe challenged Gane (14-2) for the interim heavyweight title at UFC
\nFreedom 250 on Sunday at the White House. However, Pereira barely
\nlanded any significant damage while Gane\u2019s jab was on point from
\nthe opening bell. \u201cBon Gamin\u201d hurt Pereira early in the second
\nround and unleashed vicious damage on him on the ground before
\nsecuring a standing technical knockout on the feet. <\/p>\n

Still the Best in His Own Mind<\/h2>\n

Jones reacted to Pereira\u2019s loss by wearing a necklace of a GOAT in
\na video posted on social media, signifying the greatest fighter of
\nall time. Jones is currently having a fallout with the
\nUFC<\/a> since he was denied a spot on the White House card. While
\nJones retired last year, he started rallying for a spot on the card
\nas soon as it was mentioned.<\/p>\n

When Jones missed out on a spot at UFC Freedom 250, Dana White said
\nthat he was never even considered. \u201cBones\u201d lashed out at the UFC,
\nhinting that they had been in negotiations. White had said that he
\nwould consider Pereira the GOAT if he defeated Gane at the White
\nHouse. Meanwhile, Gane, who lost to Jones in 2023, recently hailed
\n\u201cBones\u201d as the GOAT.  <\/p>\n
