Not everyone counted out Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> ahead of his fight against Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Gaethje (28-5) challenged Topuria (17-1) for the undisputed
\nlightweight title in the main event at
\nUFC White House<\/a> last weekend at the White House. Gaethje was as
\nbig as a +500 underdog on some sportsbooks going into the
\nfight. <\/p>\n

However, Francis
\nNgannou<\/a> thought the oddsmakers were being unfair to Gaethje.
\nThe former UFC heavyweight champion couldn\u2019t fathom why Gaethje was
\nsuch a massive underdog, considering \u201cThe Highlight\u201d always put on
\na show even in his losses. Ngannou put his money on Gaethje, who
\nmade Topuria\u2019s corner throw in the towel at the end of the fourth
\nround. Gaethje finally won the much deserved undisputed title in
\nhis third attempt. Ngannou thanked the newly crowned lightweight
\nchampion for making his week.<\/p>\n

A Beautiful Week<\/h2>\n

\u201cI bet on Gaethje,\u201d Ngannou told TMZ Sports. \u201cI saw these odds and
\nI\u2019m like, \u2018Something\u2019s wrong with these bookmakers.\u2019 Like, what\u2019s
\nwrong? This is Justin
\nGaethje<\/a>, man. Even when the guy lost, he always showed up and
\nput on a show. He\u2019s good at taking people out\u2026 Thanks to him, I had
\na wonderful day. I\u2019m having a beautiful week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ngannou is not the only one who bet on Gaethje. Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> allegedly won a payout of $5.7 million after betting
\n$1 million on Gaethje. Tsarukyan now plans to honor his promise of
\ngifting Gaethje a truck.  <\/p>\n
