Zalal recently called out Vallejos for his previous comments. \u201cThe
\nMoroccan Devil\u201d believes he will give Vallejos a reality check if
\nthey meet inside the Octagon.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet that guy talk, I hope they give me his name,\u201d Zalal told Home
\nof Fight. \u201cI want to see that contract. I\u2019ll show him the \u2018kid that
\nruns, the kid that circles, and is not fun to fight\u2019… I can\u2019t
\nwait to give him a reality check and show him there\u2019s levels to
\nthis.\u201d<\/p>\n

On a Collison Course?<\/h2>\n

Zalal\u2019s (18-6) first
\nUFC<\/a> run ended in 2022 after going winless in four straight
\noutings. However, Zalal returned to the UFC in 2024 after three
\nconsecutive first-round finishes on the regional circuit. Zalal
\nwent undefeated in five straight outings, with four finishes, in
\nhis second UFC stint. Zalal\u2019s impressive run ended with a lopsided
\ndecision loss against Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a> this past April.<\/p>\n

Vallejos was rooting for Sterling to defeat Zalal as a potential
\nfuture opponent. \u201cEl Chino\u201d said he would prefer facing Sterling,
\nas \u201cThe Funkmaster\u201d doesn\u2019t run like Zalal. Vallejos (18-1) is
\nundefeated in four UFC outings with three finishes. The Argentinian
\nsuffered his lone professional loss against Jean Silva<\/a>
\nvia a hard-fought decision in his first
\nDana White’s Contender Series<\/a> appearance in 2023. <\/p>\n
