\nloss. <\/p>\n

Former UFC welterweight Matt Brown<\/a>
\nrecently slammed Chandler\u2019s lackluster run in the promotion.
\nChandler suffered a lopsided first-round knockout loss against
\nMauricio
\nRuffy<\/a> at
\nUFC White House<\/a>. Despite being 2-6 in the UFC, Chandler has
\nnever fought on a Fight Night outside of a numbered UFC
\ncard. <\/p>\n

Brown believes Chandler\u2019s stardom is undeserved based on his UFC
\ncareer. Brown believes Dana White should cut Chandler from the
\nroster or politely ask him to hang up his gloves. According to
\nBrown, Chandler should try fighting in smaller promotions if he
\nwants to continue competing. However, Brown believes Chandler
\nclearly has no place in the UFC.<\/p>\n

A Better Fit Elsewhere<\/h2>\n

\u201cWith Michael
\nChandler<\/a>, just his whole UFC run hasn\u2019t been anything to note\u2026
\nHe shouldn\u2019t be the star that he is in the UFC,\u201d Chandler told
\nMMAFighting.com<\/a>. \u201cHow are you 2-6 and you\u2019re as
\nbig of a star as him\u2026 I would not be excited to see him fight
\nagain. If I\u2019m Dana White, I either cut him or tell him, \u2018Look, you
\nneed to retire, bro.\u2019… If he wanted to keep fighting, I think he
\nwould probably fit into other organizations. I would like to see
\nhim in bare-knuckle, Gamebred MMA stuff. I think there\u2019s fun things
\nfor him to do. He is clearly not a UFC-level guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chandler (23-11) made a statement with a vicious first-round
\nknockout of Dan Hooker<\/a> in
\nhis UFC debut in 2021. However, \u201cIron\u201d has since managed to defeat
\nonly Tony
\nFerguson<\/a> while suffering six losses \u2014 most of them being
\nlopsided. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Brown (24-19) holds the record for the fifth-most
\nfinishes in UFC history and the second most KO\/TKO wins in UFC
\nhistory. \u201cThe Immortal\u201d scored a first-round knockout win over
\nCourt
\nMcGee<\/a> in his last UFC outing in 2023 before announcing his
\nretirement in 2024.  <\/p>\n
