Herb
\nDean<\/a> is again involved in a controversy regarding illegal
\nshots. <\/p>\n

Dean was the third man in the Octagon when Andre Fili<\/a>
\n(25-14) welcomed Vinicius
\nOliveira<\/a> (24-4) to the featherweight division at
\nUFC Fight Night 279<\/a> on Saturday in Las Vegas. Oliveira managed
\nto survive the first round despite being visibly hurt by body kicks
\nfrom Fili. \u201cLokDog\u201d went all guns blazing late in the second round
\nafter stunning Fili. Oliveira rained a vicious barrage of shots on
\nFili, forcing Dean to step in just before the bell in the second
\nround. <\/p>\n

Controversy Strikes Again<\/h2>\n

However, some of the shots landed by Oliveira in the finishing
\nsequence appeared to be on the back of the head, which is illegal.
\nFili was subsequently seen complaining to Dean, who appeared to
\ncheck the fighter\u2019s head. Dean also seemingly showed \u201cTouchy\u201d the
\nreplay of the fight.

\ncomplained to Herb Dean<\/a> that
\nthe elbows were to the back of the head.<\/p>\n

Dean was involved in a similar controversy earlier this month

\nPereira<\/a>\u2019s loss against Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nat tUFC
\nWhite House<\/a>. Gane won the interim heavyweight title by
\nfinishing Pereira with a brutal barrage of shots. Some of the shots
\nlanded by Gane on the ground appeared to be to the back of
\nPereira\u2019s head. Dean subsequently
\nreleased a video<\/a> explaining his exact definition of \u201cback of
