Dean has recently faced backlash for his officiating in Alex
\nPereira<\/a>\u2019s loss against Gane at
\nUFC White House.<\/a> Gane finished Pereira in the second round to
\nwin the interim heavyweight title earlier this month. However, Gane
\napparently used multiple shots to the back of Pereira\u2019s head,
\nwithout Dean issuing any warning. Gane has previously been accused
\nof using illegal shots when his title challenge against Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> ended in a no-contest due to a double eye poke by the
\nFrenchman. <\/p>\n

However, surging heavyweight contender Hokit (10-0) is unbothered
\nabout illegal shots from Gane (14-2) if they fight. \u201cThe Incredible
\nHok\u201d specifically wants Dean as the third man in the Octagon if he
\nfights Gane.<\/p>\n

Gane has now earned a reputation for using illegal shots. Pereira
\nclaims to have even reminded Dean about back-of-the-head shots from
\nGane during the rules meeting ahead of their fight. <\/p>\n
