\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> CEO John Martin admits that

\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a> did better than his organization in
\nsome aspects in its first MMA show. <\/p>\n

MVP hosted its
\nfirst MMA card<\/a> this past May featuring stars like Francis
\nNgannou<\/a> and Ronda
\nRousey<\/a>. Martin admits that MVP did better than the PFL in
\nreeling in casual fans. Martin believes MVP co-founder Jake Paul<\/a>\u2019s
\nmassive popularity played a pivotal role in bringing in casual
\nfans. Martin also lauded MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian for building the
\nbrand. <\/p>\n

Martin claims he was wishing MVP success for its first event, as he
\nbelieves it would boost the growth of the sport as a whole. Martin
\nis open to collaborating with MVP in the future. However, Martin
\nclarifies that it won\u2019t come at the cost of PFL fighters being used
\nto build some other brand.<\/p>\n

Bringing in the Casuals<\/h2>\n

\u201cI know Nakisa, I have spoken to him many number of times\u2026 I was
\nwishing them well and hoping that they succeeded on May 16,\u201d Martin
\ntold Home of Fight<\/a>. \u201cBecause I do think that we\u2019re
\nall trying to grow a sport. And what MVP has done, honestly better
\nthan PFL, is bringing in casual fans. And that\u2019s Jake Paul<\/a> as
\na really well known social media influencer for a really long time,
\nand now a true boxing star. And Nakisa\u2019s done a wonderful job
\nbuilding that promotion. And we\u2019ve talked about what we might be
\nable to do together. We also have a fight-share agreement with
\nRizin. And I\u2019m open to things like that. But what we won\u2019t do is,
\nshare our fighters to build somebody else\u2019s promotion. It\u2019s gotta
\nbe reciprocal.\u201d
