\nfollowing a first-round submission loss to Jena Bishop<\/a>

\nPFL San Diego<\/a> on Saturday night. Lipski da Silva went 1-1 under
\nthe
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a>banner but exits the sport having
\nlost four of her last five professional outings.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEverything has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Yesterday was
\nthe last time I stepped into the cage, bringing to a close a
\njourney of nearly 13 years as a professional MMA fighter, with the
\nprivilege of competing in the biggest organizations in the world.
\nI’m grateful for everything this sport has given me; for every
\nopportunity, every lesson, and every door it opened along the way.
\nI gave my best to help women’s MMA grow, even knowing that, at
\ntimes, my best may not have been enough.<\/p>\n
\nopportunities for the next generation. More importantly, I hope the
\nyoung women who are just beginning understand that they don’t have
\nto compromise their values to become champions. Honor should never
\nbe sacrificed, because the people we choose to honor are often the
\nones who help us go the farthest. I’ve learned that defeat is
\npainful. It’s bitter, but it shapes our character and prepares us
\nfor real life. I’ve also learned that victory is sweet and filled
\nwith joy, but it can deceive the heart of anyone who isn’t grounded
\nin something greater.<\/p>\n
\nme, believing in me, and cheering for me regardless of the

\nViolence is done.\u201d<\/p>\nFrom KSW to UFC<\/h2>\n
\nKSW<\/a> banner, where she went 5-0 while capturing the Polish
\norganization\u2019s flyweight crown. During that stretch, Lipski da
\nSilva finished four of her five victories inside the distance.<\/p>\n
\nUFC<\/a> tenure was marked by inconsistency, as she compiled a 6-8
\nmark within the Las Vegas-based organization. Her most notable
\nstretch was a three-bout winning streak in 2023 that included
\nvictories over J.J. Aldrich<\/a>,
\nMelissa
\nGatto<\/a> and Casey O\u2019Neill. Lipski da Silva parted ways with the
\nUFC on a three-fight skid. She then outpointed Sumiko
\nInaba<\/a> at PFL Pittsburgh on March 28 before falling to Bishop.
\nLipski da Silva finished with an 18-12 professional record
