\nTopuria<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Jones, Tsarukyan, Petr Yan<\/a> and
\nAlexander
\nVolkov<\/a> were all recently in attendance for an International
\nBoxing Association card in Moscow, Russia. Jones was asked who
\nwould win a fight between Tsarukyan and Topuria.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou already know, Arman all day,\u201d Jones replied.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan then joked that he would have wrestled \u201cBones\u201d if the
\nlatter had picked Topuria. <\/p>\n

Missed Connection<\/h2>\n

Tsarukyan (23-3) should have ideally fought Topuria (17-1) when \u201cEl
\nMatador\u201d moved up to lightweight. However, Tsarukyan had fallen out
\nof the
\nUFC<\/a>\u2019s favor after pulling out of a scheduled title fight
\nagainst Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a>. Topuria went on to beat Charles
\nOliveira<\/a> to win the vacant lightweight title instead. While
\nTsarukyan subsequently started calling for a shot against Topuria,
\nthe Georgian-Spaniard expressed interest in fighting Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> instead. However, Pimblett went on to lose an interim
\ntitle fight against Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> while Tsarukyan remained sidelined from the title
\npicture.<\/p>\n

Topuria was a massive favorite when he put his interim title on the
\nline against Gaethje earlier this month at
\nUFC White House<\/a>. However, Gaethje handed Topuria a brutal
\nbeating, forcing his corner to throw in the towel at the end of the
\nfourth round. Tsarukyan believes Topuria won\u2019t return the same
\nfighter after his first professional loss, which diminishes the
\nappeal of a potential fight between the two now. <\/p>\n
