Magomedov (17-1) scored a come-from-behind victory over
\nStrickland\u2019s teammate Michel
\nPereira<\/a> at UFC
\nBaku<\/a> last weekend. Strickland had even mimicked \u201cShara Bullet\u201d
\nwhile helping Pereira prepare for the fight. <\/p>\n

Magomedov has since labeled Strickland (31-7) a \u201cdomestic
\nchampion.\u201d Magomedov accuses Strickland of not leaving America
\nbecause he is scared. According to Magomedov, Strickland just acts
\nlike a hero in his own gym. Magomedov believes Strickland would ask
\nfor additional security if had to go to Abu Dhabi to fight. While
\nMagomedov wants to Strickland in the future, he believes it won\u2019t
\nbe anytime soon. <\/p>\n

\u2018Just a Windbag\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just a windbag,\u201d Magomedov told Red Corner MMA. \u201cHis time
\nwill come and we\u2019ll meet in the Octagon. There\u2019s where we\u2019ll find
\nout. Even if he keeps talking trash what should I do? Go to America
\nto chose him? He\u2019s like a domestic champion. Just a home boy who
\nacts like a big hero in his gym. For example, if they invited him
\nto Azerbaijan, he wouldn\u2019t come just because he\u2019s scared. He won\u2019t
\nleave America. And if we had to fight, he would say, \u2018Come to
\nAmerica.\u2019 Because he knows I can\u2019t go there now. So he\u2019s just a
\ndomestic champion. If he ever comes to Abu Dhabi he\u2019ll ask for five
\nsecurity guards. But most likely he won\u2019t even go there.\u201d <\/p>\n

With Magomedov currently being unranked, a fight against the
\nchampion Strickland in unlikely to materialize in the near
\nfuture. <\/p>\n
