Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> recently reflected on his infamous post-fight incident
\nwhile competing for
\nCage Warriors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After a 2016 title fight in London, Pimblett suffered a memorable
\nmishap during his post-fight interview due to a pre-fight mistake.
\nHe has now shed light on his worst weight-cutting gaffes, one of
\nwhich ultimately led to the viral moment.<\/p>\n

Paddy Pimblett reflects on infamous vomiting clip<\/h2>\n

Pimblett vomiting soon after his 2016 featherweight title fight
\nagainst Julian
\nErosa<\/a> at Cage Warriors \u201cUnplugged 1\u201d remains one of his
\nstandout memories from fighting in the England-based promotion. He
\nsecured a decision win, but his pre-fight meal got the better of
\nhim during the post-fight interview. He recalled on his YouTube
\nchannel:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I spewed in the cage [after fighting Erosa], it wasn\u2019t
\nbecause of the refuel; it was just because of being an idiot before
\nI went to the venue. Before I went to the venue, I went to
\nStarbucks or Costco\u2026 I got a hot chocolate, and we went to Tesco,
\nand I got a pack of Ferrero Rocher, and I ate them on the way to
\nthe venue, after doing an 8-kilogram water cut, one of the biggest
\ncuts I\u2019ve ever done. It didn\u2019t go well with my body at the time. It
\nwas a bad idea, but that was me, stupid kid, didn\u2019t listen to
\nanyone. I was only 21 at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pimblett then revisited another one of his weight-cutting mistakes,
\nthis time in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>. After making weight for his
\nfight against Rodrigo
\nVargas<\/a> at UFC London in just his second appearance in the
\npromotion, \u201cThe Baddy\u201d treated himself to a full English breakfast
\nbefore properly rehydrating.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe worst mistake I ever made when refuelling was when I fought
\n[Rodrigo] Vargas. I hadn\u2019t even drank any water yet. Well, I drank
\na little bit of water, but in the fighter hotel, I went straight
\ndownstairs and got a full English [breakfast],\u201d Pimblett said. \u201cI
\nwas sitting there eating the full English, I\u2019d only drank about a
\nliter of water, and Paul Reed<\/a> came
\nover, \u2018What the f*ck are you doing?!\u2019 I was just sitting there
\nlike, \u2018Just having a full English.\u2019 And he was like, \u2018What are you
\ndoing, you f*cking idiot?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The UFC lightweight now has his weight-cutting process dialled in.
\nAhead of his return to the Octagon at UFC
\n329<\/a>, where he\u2019ll collide with Benoit St.
\nDenis<\/a> in the co-main event, the Englishman claims his cut is
\ngoing even better than when he fought Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t miss weight. We make weight healthily. That\u2019s exactly
\nwhat I\u2019m going to do next week. I might end up even having less
\nweight to cut from when I fought Justin Gaethje, and you saw with
\nthat one, I weighed in underweight. This time I haven\u2019t got to make
\n155; it\u2019s 156. You never know\u2026 I might only end up cutting 10
\npounds, and then I\u2019ll be getting back in the cage at 185. A proper
\nlightweight.\u201d<\/p>\n
