Terence \u201cBud\u201d Crawford has shut down Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a>\u2019s claims about a $200 million offer.<\/p>\n

McGregor has previously said that a two-fight crossover offer was
\non the table courtesy of Turki Al-Sheikh. However, according to the
\nIrishman, Crawford turned it down. The unbeaten boxer has now
\nclarified whether the offer was real.<\/p>\n

Crawford has revealed that there was no serious offer for a
\ntwo-fight deal comprising a boxing and a mixed martial arts bout
\nagainst McGregor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a lie. It was cap. It wasn\u2019t never no $200 million
\noffer,\u201d Crawford told Ariel Helwani. \u201cThey asked me would I do it,
\nand I told them, \u2018You ain\u2019t about to be kicking on me, Conor.\u2019 We
\nwere on FaceTime, and I did tell him that. But they didn\u2019t say,
\n\u2018Hey, you got $200 million. You fight him in boxing and MMA.\u2019 That
\nwas never the case. If it was said to me, I could say there was an
\noffer, but if nothing is previewed to me, I can\u2019t say what is what.
\nHe\u2019s making up numbers, in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n

Terence Crawford responds to Conor McGregor $200 million
\ncrossover offer claim<\/h2>\n

Crawford further claimed that for the amount of money McGregor says
\nwas offered, he would have accepted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have done it. Why wouldn\u2019t I? I don\u2019t need to do it [now].
\nBack then, it would have been a good deal. Right now, where I\u2019m
\nsitting at right now, I don\u2019t need to do it\u2026 Back then, I probably
\nwould have took it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crawford retired last year, with his final victory coming against
\nCanelo Alvarez. Meanwhile, McGregor is eyeing a triumphant return
\nto the Octagon at UFC
\n329<\/a>, where he\u2019ll square off against Max
\nHolloway<\/a> in the main event, in the penultimate bout of his
\ncurrent
