\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the Irishman\u2019s long-awaited return to the Octagon, which
\nwill be a rematch against Max
\nHolloway<\/a>, Masvidal has shared his take on the matchup. In a
\nrecent preview show on Paramount+, \u201cGamebred\u201d discussed the effect
\nMcGregor\u2019s five-year absence from competition could have on his
\nperformance.<\/p>\n

Jorge Masvidal Has a Brutal Warning for Conor McGregor Before
\nUFC Return<\/h2>\n

Masvidal, alongside fellow former UFC stars Chris
\nWeidman<\/a> and Din Thomas<\/a>,
\nbroke down the upcoming UFC 329 main event and McGregor\u2019s
\nmuch-anticipated return on Paramount+. While the Irishman has
\nclaimed that he\u2019s in his athletic prime, Masvidal says the former
\ntwo-division champion\u2019s return hinges on his lifestyle during the
\nhiatus.<\/p>\n

The inaugural BMF champion highlighted that if one stays
\ndisciplined while out of competition, they can extend their prime,
\nsaying, \u201cIt must sound like a broken record, but if you live that
\nlifestyle, yes. If you’re in the gym, you’re training, or even if
\nyou’re not in the gym, you’re f*cking running your miles, you’re
\nlifting your weights, you’re getting your heart rate up there to
\nwhat the heart rate of a fight will be like, should be, you know,
\nall right. You can do some amazing things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Masvidal also revealed the flipside. \u201cBut if you haven’t, if you’ve
\nbeen on f*cking yachts, snorting coke, chasing chicks, and you want
\nto fight Max
\nHolloway<\/a>, I don’t think so,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

McGregor and Holloway last fought 13 years ago as young
\nup-and-coming featherweights. They\u2019ll now run it back as
\nfan-favorites at
\nUFC 329<\/a> on Saturday, July 11, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in
\na welterweight clash, with both fighters looking to return to
\nwinning ways.<\/p>\n
