Ahead of his
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> debut, Gable
\nSteveson<\/a> has claimed that he can be the best at any sport he
\nplays.<\/p>\n

The Olympic gold medalist and former NCAA wrestling champion, who
\nwill face Elisha
\nEllison<\/a> at
\nUFC 329<\/a> on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, has opened
\nup about what it feels like to be the \u201cnext big thing\u201d in the
\nsport.<\/p>\n

Gable Steveson explains confidence ahead of UFC 329 debut<\/h2>\n

Steveson believes he could dominate any sport he undertakes.
\nAlready 3-0 in MMA, he is high in confidence heading into his UFC
\ndebut, which is reflected in his recent comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s a huge way to go out there and have people say, \u2018Man,
\nhe could be the next big thing,\u2019\u201d Steveson said in a recent
\ninterview. \u201cBut I think when you believe that you can be the next
\nbig thing, that is a different story. Because other people say,
\n\u2018You can be,\u2019 but you already know that you will be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I believe I can be the best at anything,\u201d he continued,
\nreiterating his belief that he can become world class in whatever
\nsport he takes on. \u201cI can play baseball, I can play soccer, I can
\ngo out there and play cricket, I can do anything I probably ever
\nwanted. So, that\u2019s my mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steveson will step into the Octagon as a massive betting favorite
\nagainst Ellison. Beyond his wrestling pedigree, the Olympian is
\nleaving no stone unturned as he looks to make a name for himself in
\nMMA, having added Jon Jones<\/a> to
\nthe team behind him.<\/p>\n
