Eric Nicksick claims his brief feud with Ali Abdelaziz has been
\nsettled.<\/p>\n

Abdelaziz and Nicksick reportedly got into an altercation shortly
\nafter Manel Kape<\/a>\u2019s
\nwin over Kyoji
\nHoriguchi<\/a> last month. Abdelaziz allegedly even threw a punch at
\nNicksick before being escorted out of the venue by security.<\/p>\n

Eric Nicksick explains his Ali Abdelaziz incident and
\napology<\/h2>\n

Nicksick recently addressed the incident without divulging too many
\ndetails. He claims that while he gets into a lot of arguments with
\nAbdelaziz, the latest one came to the limelight since it happened
\nin public.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told him Argentina was gonna beat Egypt. We\u2019re brothers, man.
\nYou get arguing with your wife, it happens in the house. This
\nhappened more in front of people, so it became more out in public,\u201d
\nNicksick told Ariel Helwani. \u201cBut we\u2019ve been friends for 15 years.
\nWe argue, we fight, we bicker and we literally roll over the next
\nday. It wasn\u2019t that big of a deal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicksick coaches Kape, who is managed by Abdelaziz. He claims the
\nmanager owned up to his mistake and apologized, and the beef was
\nthen squashed as the
\nXtreme Couture<\/a> head coach believes in forgiveness.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo his credit, he said, \u2018Look, dude, I\u2019m sorry, I made a mistake.\u2019
\nI\u2019m a man; he\u2019s a man; I think forgiveness needs to be something
\nthat we practice a lot more,\u201d Nicksick added. \u201cI can understand
\nsome of the things he\u2019s upset about\u2026 But it really has got nothing
\nto do with me. But it\u2019s all squashed. We have too much to lose,
\nman. We have too many guys in common\u2026 We\u2019re all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the incident to have escalated to the point of a physical
\naltercation, Nicksick blames certain things involving others that
\nwere lost in translation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think there’s some things that are lost in translation,
\namongst other guys in the room that need to get squared away. And
\nat the end of the day, it\u2019s my job.\u201d As for the punch allegedly
\nthrown by Abdelaziz, Nicksick said, \u201cNothing that affected me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicksick also admits that the recent online back-and-forth between
\nKape and Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> also played a part in the feud with Abdelaziz. While
\nKape and Strickland both train at Xtreme Couture, the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> middleweight king has been going
\noff on Abdelaziz. \u201cStarboy\u201d has since come to his manager\u2019s
\ndefense, unbothered by a potential confrontation with Strickland
\ndespite the size difference.<\/p>\n
