\nfans at RAF Georgia.<\/p>\n

Dvalishvili took on Henry
\nCejudo<\/a> in a wrestling match at RAF Georgia. Cejudo took an
\nearly 8-0 lead with a dominant gut wrench and appeared to be on his
\nway to a clear win. However, Dvalishvili came from behind in the
\nsecond period to close the gap to 8-5.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Machine\u201d then sent the Georgian crowd into a frenzy as he
\nultimately defeated Cejudo 11-8 on points.<\/p>\n

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Henry Cejudo wrestling match delivers
\ndramatic comeback in Georgia<\/h2>\n

Dvalishvili had also defeated Cejudo via a unanimous decision in
\ntheir UFC clash in 2024. He won the UFC bantamweight title in his
\nnext outing and defended it thrice before losing to Petr Yan<\/a> at
\n
\nUFC 323<\/a> this past December.<\/p>\n

Cejudo retired from MMA on a four-fight slump following a loss to
\nPayton
\nTalbott<\/a> on the same card. \u201cTriple C\u201d defeated fellow UFC
\nveteran Urijah Faber<\/a>
\nin his RAF debut this past February before losing to Dvalishvili.
\nMeanwhile, Dvalishvili was coming off a victory over Frankie
\nEdgar<\/a> in his RAF debut this past May.<\/p>\n
