“Demolidor” leaves the promotion after building a 10-6 record
\ninside the Octagon across two weight classes. However, he has lost
\nfour of his last five fights, ending his UFC run on a lackluster
\nnote.<\/p>\n

UFC parts ways with Michel Pereira after six-year Octagon
\nrun<\/h2>\n

Pereira has exited the UFC after six years in the promotion. He
\nmade his UFC debut against Danny
\nRoberts<\/a> in 2019 and has since won 10 fights inside the Octagon.
\nThe 32-year-old completed his previous contract with a
\nsplit-decision victory over Zachary
\nReese<\/a> in February following a losing streak. He then signed a
\none-fight deal to face Magomedov in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

His last appearance ended in a unanimous decision defeat. Pereira
\nlater criticized referee Herb Dean<\/a> for
\nnot deducting points from Magomedov despite issuing multiple
\nwarnings for hair pulling. Magomedov also avoided a point deduction
\nfor a seemingly blatant eye poke.<\/p>\n

Pereira enjoyed his best run in the UFC during an eight-fight
\nwinning streak between 2020 and 2024, but this momentum was lost
\nafter consecutive defeats to Anthony
\nHernandez<\/a>, Abus
\nMagomedov<\/a> and Kyle
\nDaukaus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While several fighters have had multiple stints in the UFC, with
\nsome even going on to win gold after returning to the promotion,
\nPereira\u2019s inconsistency and age may prove to be a stumbling block
\nto him getting re-signed.<\/p>\n
