The former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> middleweight champion suggested
\non Instagram that Strickland is avoiding a rematch following their
\nclash at
\nUFC 328<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Sean Strickland vs. Khamzat Chimaev rematch talk heats up after
\nUFC 328<\/h2>\n

Chimaev had previously claimed the 185-pound belt with a dominant
\nunanimous decision victory over Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a>, using his renowned ground game to dethrone the South
\nAfrican. However, “Borz” then dropped the championship to
\nStrickland in a lackluster performance that he seemingly gassed out
\nin, picking up the lone blemish on his pro record.<\/p>\n

In pursuit of a rematch, Chimaev has now shared four photos from
\nhis five-round battle with Strickland along with a brief
\ncaption.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone is running, I’m ready, just tell me where and when I’ll be
\nthere,\u201d he captioned his post.<\/p>\n

Strickland previously revealed that he is recovering from a
\nshoulder injury and is targeting an Octagon return for later this
\nyear. The American has taken shots at Chimaev since beating him,
\nbut hasn\u2019t addressed a potential rematch. Moreover, the latter
\nisn\u2019t the only contender in the title mix, with former champs
\nDricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> and Kamaru
\nUsman<\/a>, who\u2019ve both beaten Strickland, colliding at
\nUFC Oklahoma City<\/a>.<\/p>\n
