\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> star Jon Jones<\/a> is
\nwilling to \u201clet bygones be bygones\u201d to do business with Dana
\nWhite.<\/p>\n

They recently had a falling out. White was strongly backing Jones
\nwhen the former two-division champion was being accused of trying
\nto avoid interim champion Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>. White kept assuring fans that Jones would eventually
\nfight Aspinall. However, Jones ultimately vacated the belt,
\ncreating tension between himself and the UFC CEO.<\/p>\n

Jones (28-1) returned to the drug testing pool just weeks later,
\nwhen plans for the
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a> were first mentioned. “Bones” repeatedly
\ncampaigned for a spot on the card, but failed to do so as White
\nmade it clear that Jones was never even in consideration to fight
\nat the White House. This drew the ire of Jones, who claimed he was
\nindeed in negotiations for the historic event and started publicly
\nasking for his UFC release.<\/p>\n

The tension between the two parties has seemingly dissipated since
\nthen. Jones was recently at
\nUFC 329<\/a> cornering Gable
\nSteveson<\/a> for his UFC debut.<\/p>\n

He even took a picture with White, whom he recently called a
\n\u201chomie.\u201d Jones now claims that he doesn\u2019t hold any grudges against
\nthe latter, regardless of his personal opinion about the UFC head
\nhoncho. Jones acknowledges that both he and White have financially
\nbenefited from each other and is willing to let go of past feuds to
\ndo business with White in the future.<\/p>\n

While Jones doesn\u2019t think he will be invited to White\u2019s Christmas
\ndinner, he will always respect the UFC CEO for changing his
\nlife.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn order to do big business, you can\u2019t hold grudges,\u201d Jones told
\nRing Magazine. \u201cYou got to be able to let bygones be bygones. You
\nhave to be able to work with people that you don\u2019t love. I\u2019ve made
\nDana millions of dollars over the years, and he\u2019s made me millions
\nof dollars over the years. So, it\u2019s not always about how you feel
\nabout a person. It\u2019s like, \u2018Can we still work together? Can we
\nstill do business together?\u2019 And I feel like we\u2019re always gonna be
\nable to make money together. Will I be invited to his house on
\nChristmas? Probably not. But the guy changed my life, and he is a
\nhomie for life. Despite how he feels about me, I\u2019m always gonna
\ngive him that respect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jones also revealed that he is still under contract with the UFC
\nand is part of the drug testing pool. He hasn\u2019t entirely ruled out
\na return to the promotion.<\/p>\n
