\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> will look to put on a more
\nsatisfying main event than last week, as the
\nUFC Oklahoma City<\/a> card is now official following the official
\nweigh-ins.<\/p>\n

The UFC OKC main event will see two former champions clash, as
\nformer welterweight king Kamaru
\nUsman<\/a> takes on ex-middleweight champion Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a>. Both men successfully made weight for the five-round
\nmiddleweight main attraction. As for the rest of the card,
\nlightweight Chase
\nHooper<\/a> and featherweight Ezra
\nElliott<\/a> missed weight by 1.5 pounds for their respective
\nfights. As a result, they’ll each be fined 20% of their purses.<\/p>\n

“The Nigerian Nightmare” enters his latest headlining bout after
\noutwrestling Joaquin
\nBuckley<\/a> last year. That unanimous decision victory snapped a
\nthree-fight losing streak for Usman (21-4), who lost his belt to
\nLeon
\nEdwards<\/a> before failing to regain the belt and coming up short
\nagainst Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a>. The Nigerian fighter is 39-years-old and is looking to
\nmake one final run at the belt. Usman officially weighed 186 pounds
\non the dot.<\/p>\n

Du Plessis (23-3) also recently lost to Chimaev, who took the
\nmiddleweight title from “Stillknocks.” The South African fighter is
\nseven years younger than his opponent and is 9-1 inside the UFC.
\nRecent wins over Sean
\nStrickland<\/a>, Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a> and Robert
\nWhittaker<\/a> have cemented “DDP” as one of the division’s best.
\nThe 32-year-old weighed 185.5 pounds for his latest main event.<\/p>\n

UFC Oklahoma City will air live on Paramount+ on Saturday. The main
\ncard starts at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT, while the prelims begin at 5
\np.m. ET\/2 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n
