The Ultimate Fighting Championship<\/a> nearly beat its
\nrecord set a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Per a
\nrelease<\/a> from the UFC\u2019s broadcast partner of Paramount+, the
\nofficial viewership numbers for
\nUFC 329<\/a> are now out. According to the release, viewers in the
\nU.S. and Latin America combined for a whopping 15.9 million total
\nviewers. The breakdown for the U.S. totaled 14.3 million while the
\nother countries combined for 1.6 million on the streaming service.
\nThis total does not eclipse the 17 million reached by the
\nUFC White House<\/a> card<\/p>\n

Even as it brought in an average of 6.5 million average viewers,
\nthat tally falls far short of the number on the June 14 spectacle
\nshow. The UFC White House event saw 8.2 million average viewers\u2014it
\nhas since corrected the number previously submitted of
\nseven million<\/a>\u2014throughout that Sunday night, one where the event
\nstarted late due to a weather delay.<\/p>\n

UFC 329 beat UFC White House in one major metric<\/h2>\n

While the UFC White House show largely surpassed UFC 329 in most
\nviewership categories, there was one notable metric where UFC 329
\nshined. The broadcaster revealed in its release that the card maxed
\nout at 8.3 million people watching simultaneously around the
\nWestern Hemisphere. This sets the new record for the promotion,
\nwhich previously stood at 7.9 million when Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> beat down Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>. It is not the highest in Paramount+ history, with
\nSuper Bowl LVIII which saw the Kansas City Chiefs play the San
\nFrancisco 49ers in Feb. 2024 drawing 11.5 million views at the same
\ntime.<\/p>\n

UFC 329 concluded with Max
\nHolloway<\/a> winning the rematch against Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a>, after McGregor threw a flying kick on his opening
\nstrike and appeared to injure his right knee. After 69 seconds,
\nMcGregor could not continue and Holloway was awarded the injury TKO
\nvictory. The triumphant Holloway called for a rubber match,
\nclaiming that he wanted to make some more money. The organization
\nset a record for its highest gate, surpassing all past shows at the
\nT-Mobile Arena despite no new seats being added to the venue.<\/p>\n
