\nreportedly set to welcome an accomplished regional champion.<\/p>\n

Reigning
\nLegacy Fighting Alliance<\/a> light heavyweight titleholder Lucas
\nFernando<\/a> has signed with the promotion and is scheduled to make
\nhis Octagon debut against Rafael
\nTobias<\/a> at UFC
\n330<\/a> on Aug. 15.<\/p>\n

Lucas Fernando gets second shot at UFC following Contender
\nSeries setback, per report<\/h2>\n

Fernando (13-3), who featured on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> three years ago, will finally get
\nto fight in the famed Octagon, as reported by Guilherme Cruz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He suffered a decision loss to Cesar
\nAlmeida<\/a> on DWCS in 2023 and lost his next bout on LFA as well.
\nThe Brazilian then bounced back with four consecutive wins, with
\nhis last two bouts ending in finishes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Fernando\u2019s opponent, Tobias (14-2), will be looking to
\nnotch his first UFC win at the next numbered event. He earned a UFC
\ncontract with a submission victory over Jair de
\nOliveira<\/a> on DWCS in 2025 before dropping his Octagon debut to
\nDiyar
\nNurgozhay<\/a> in March.<\/p>\n

UFC 330 is scheduled for Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in
\nPhiladelphia. It features two title fights: Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> vs. Ian Garry<\/a> in
\nthe main event and Mackenzie
\nDern<\/a> vs. Gillian
