\nopponent.<\/p>\n

The former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> lightweight announced on
\nInstagram that he will face Braeden
\nKuykendall<\/a> in a welterweight bout at BKFC 92, which takes place
\nAug. 29 at Fenway Park in Boston. This marks Lauzon’s bare-knuckle
\ndebut as well as his first combat sports appearance in nearly six
\nyears.<\/p>\n

Joe Lauzon returns to combat sports against Braeden Kuykendall
\nat BKFC 92<\/h2>\n

Lauzon took to Instagram to announce his upcoming fight at BKFC 92
\nslated for Fenway Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely pumped to announce that I\u2019ll be fighting for BKFC at
\nFenway Park on Aug. 29,\u201d the Massachusetts native wrote on
\nInstagram. \u201cFenway is one of the most iconic venues in the world,
\nand getting to fight there in Boston is something I\u2019m really
\nexcited about. This is going to be a crazy night, and I\u2019d love to
\nsee a ton of familiar faces there.\u201d<\/p>\n

He returns against Kuykendall, who is yet to bag a victory under
\nthe BKFC banner, going 0-2 in the promotion. His overall MMA record
\nstands at 6-2, in contrast to Lauzon\u2019s, which is 28-15. “The
\nUltimate Fighter” alum last fought Jonathan
\nPearce<\/a> back in 2019, in Boston, securing a stoppage in the
\nfirst round.<\/p>\n

Lauzon was later scheduled to face Donald
\nCerrone<\/a> on three separate occasions, though each booking
\nultimately fell through.<\/p>\n

Now 42 years old, “J-Lau” will begin the next chapter of his combat
\nsports career when he competes at one of the most iconic venues in
\nAmerican sports.<\/p>\n
