The Brazilian contender, who is set to collide with Thomas
\nPetersen<\/a> at
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/a> on July 25, dismissed both rising heavyweights in
\na recent interview, asserting that neither fighter has done enough
\nin their careers to convince him that they are serious threats.<\/p>\n

Valter Walker says Josh Hokit fight could headline a UFC
\ncard<\/h2>\n

Walker, who has won four of his past five fights, told MMA Fighting<\/a> he would gladly take on either
\nHokit or Steveson next after his upcoming fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think he\u2019s a tough fight for me,\u201d Walker said when asked
\nabout Hokit. \u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s the fighter people are
\nmaking him out to be. Come on, he\u2019s small. I\u2019m not intimidated by
\nthat guy at all. Gable Steveson, Josh Hokit. People say, \u2018He\u2019s a
\nmonster, an Olympic wrestling champion.\u2019 Man, I watched Gable\u2019s
\ndebut, and I wasn\u2019t that impressed. I didn\u2019t get all the hype.\u201d<\/p>\n

Walker then further asserted his willingness to fight either
\nAmerican heavyweight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not scared of Josh Hokit or Gable Steveson one bit,\u201d he added.
\n\u201cIf that\u2019s the next fight, bring it on. It can be Gable Steveson,
\nJosh Hokit, Vitor Petrino. I\u2019ll take all of them. If I win this
\nSaturday, book me against any of those guys next.\u201d<\/p>\n

“The Foot Hunter” claims that a potential fight with Hokit would
\ngenerate significant interest.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re talking co-main event or even main event, because of all the
\ntrash we\u2019d talk to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Walker questions the UFC’s rising heavyweight prospects before
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/h2>\n

Walker also believes that fighting Steveson would be a great
\nopportunity, given his wrestling background and ties to former UFC
\ntwo-division champion Jon Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you imagine?\u201d Walker said. \u201cI beat him, climb on the cage, and
\nspit in Jon Jones\u2019 face. Damn! People holding Jon Jones back while
\nI\u2019m screaming that I\u2019m the GOAT and telling Jon Jones to go f*ck
\nhimself. All the hype would come my way. It\u2019s an opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steveson enjoyed a successful UFC debut at
\nUFC 329<\/a>, finishing Elisha
\nEllison<\/a> in the first round, while Hokit extended his perfect
\nrecord by beating Derrick
\nLewis<\/a> at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>. Walker poses a threat to both Americans, given
